Best Stats/Logging program

I would like to find out if there is a stats program that tracks where people came from before they entered your website and one that tracks what website they go after they come.

Also, would like to find out the best stats program to use to track conversions if you run an affiliate website that actually can tell when a person submitted a lead form or purchased something off the website that I link to.

Let me know if you have any ideas.

As far as where people entered from, most packages (probably all) have top referers or just a list of refering sites.

I think the only way to find out where they go after is if they click on a link of some kind on your site and you have a redirect script to track that.

The trouble is you can find out what happens on your site but not someone else's. If they click or submit something on your site that goes somewhere else then no problem. Whether that turned into an actual sale or what they do after they leave is untrackable.
