how to know that googlebot has visited?

i am a newer,i want to know that how to know googlebot has visited.

Best way would be to check/analyze your log files that is on your server where your site is hosted. If yuo have no access to your log files than maybe you can use some scripts that's freely available to be embedded into each of your webpages & from the googlebot visits notify you by email or output it into a html file.
