I am looking at buying a domain for $135 that has paid inclusion in Yahoo directory. I am not too keen on the name but its listed in the directory which will save me the $600 adult listing fee.
How can i tell if the site is still getting traffic? I checked alexa stats and there is none listed.

Ask the owner to put a free trail of a tracking script onto the home page (all Yahoo directory links would go to the homepage anyway, but if he/she is happy to put the code on all pages, then great). Make sure it is a script that tries to determine search engine referrals. One that separates Yahoo directory from yahoo spidered or PPC is evebn better.

You also need to check the annual expiration date. All sites submitted after Dec. 28, 2001 are subject to annual Yahoo directory fees (and reviews).
