Ade,

We use Webalizer, and its OK.

I think this would need to be installed by your host, AFAIK, it can't be run as a script from your browser.

You might try AWStats, which is slightly better than Webalizer in some ways.

Alternatively, try Advlogger, which runs from your cgi-bin, using SSI or javascript inserted on the relevant pages.

4eyes, I'm looking at hosting that includes Webalizer. Do the stats include search keywords and keyphrases?

sorry Ade - there is another program named z-e-u-s. A few in their affiliate program have been promoting in the forums for so long that I just added it to the filter instead of trying to decide what's a url drop and what's not.

I'm not up on webalizer.

Marcia

They do 'of a fashion'.

If you are able to mess around with the config files you can get a reasonable amount of info. It can pull keywords and also Search Engine Referrals - but not keywords by search engine. AWStats seems to do that better.

Most hosts with Webalizer seem to just do the 'out of the box' installation.

I will stickymail you with URL example of one of our tweaked reports.
