Odd error log entry

I have an odd error log entry that has me worried…

[mysite.com...]

This URL, with “&X=1” at the end, returns a file 404, but worries me is that the page in question has a form that uses PHP to process the form.

Is this an attempt to exploit the form or is this a common mistake?

Could be either. You might want to test the page yourself to see what is returned when you pass different GET variables.
