Does anyone know the most recent figures on:

1) Percentage of visitors who do not accept cookies, and
2) Percentage of visitors who have JavaScript disabled?

Any evidence to back up your comments would be much appreciated.

I am also keen to know if there are substantial differences between Europe and the States.

Cheers,
Mike

Best way to get statistics, as these types of things are market specific, is to use your own log files (imho) and do some testing for javascript installation via <script> and <noscript> tags.

Good luck.

I worked at several web hosting companies that used cookie based tracking to understand sales referrals.

We cross referenced our log file data with our cookie data and came to the conclusion that around 3% of users will NOT accept cookies at any given time.
