We are currently in persuite of the best available tracking product. Capabilities we are looking for:

-In-depth PPC keyword analysis (including Orders & Revenue Value)

-A single account that can manage multiple sites running multiple campaigns?

-Tracking that works with Yahoo store carts (both new and old)

-Products that will idealy work in combination with aditional tracking and continue to work properly?

What we have tested:

Webtrends: Good but does not offer everything we need.

Hypertracker: Offers what we are looking for although does not have the reliability or customer support to be affective.

HitBox: "Pro" works good but does not offer everything we need. Have not tested "enterprise".

KeywordMax: Great Customer & Technical Support, (Testing still in progress)

ConversionRuler: I hear good things does not work with Yahoo store cart.

GoToast: Begining Testing (initial notes: Product can be very expensive when managing multiple campaigns)

We have also tested log analysis tools such as click tracks but for companies in our situation who are managing many campaigns the new clicktracks pro requires a lot of time. But for single campaign companies the product is remarkable.

Please let me know all your thoughts on the following. My goal is only to find out the best product out there.

There are many more PPC & ROI tracking products available. Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Since commercial soliciation, whisper campaigns, etc are forbidden by the site's TOS [webmasterworld.com], and you obviously have a good idea of a few of the well known products on the market - is to check your favorite search engine, and drill through the ads.

Any such product that works with PPC ads, if they ain't buying PPC ads themselves, then (imho) they have no confidence in their software / service.

I did an interview recently with the CEO of GoToast. He stated that they have introduced some new tools that sound like they do what you're describing.

This is NOT a testimonial - I've never used or seen them - just heard them described by the CEO.

Here's a link:

Hope this helps.

Try PPC Pro with Conversion Ruler. I have been using them both for a while. They are cost effective and give the information you would normally need.

You are correct that Conversion Ruler may not work well with Yahoo stores. But you definitely can track your sales, just not the price of the sale. If you call Conversion Ruler, I believe they are working on this. They are very helpful.

If you like to spend money, go with Go Toast. They will likely have everything you want. You just have to pay for it.

Since it seems we're all personally recommending products...;) I'd say, roll your own.

All you need to do is add a cookie to the visitor, and then log their data...

Or you can buy some software that'll do it - I can think of several off hand. That is, of course, unless you'd prefer to spend, month after month.
