Namerenters.com in my referrer logs

who are they?

Sorry if this has already been discussed here (I can't see if it has).
In my referrer stats each month I'm getting lots of "referrals" from URLs such as <url snip>.cc and <url snip>.bz.
When I try and visit them to find out who they are, I get Namerenters.com.
Who are they and what does this actually mean if they're in my referral logs?
Any info much appreciated.

What you might be seeing is something called log spamming. Check out this thread for more info.

Namerenters is involved with some scumware that changes browser preferences - you're probably getting referrals from infected machines.
