64.12.96.205 = cache-mtc-ak08.proxy.aol.com

Why does it constantly request /color:?

64.12.96.205 - - [05/Nov/2003:12:49:51 -0800] "GET /color: HTTP/1.0" 404 1482 "http://www.my-domain.com.page.html" "Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; MSIE 3.0b; AOL 4.0; Windows 3.1)"

Of course I have no file named "color:" Is this some inability to interpret my style sheet? Seems like a very old browser.

hi keyplyr,

it defenetly looks like that. as the referrer seems to be in the logs, it would be possible to analyze which css causes an aol client based on internet explorer 3 on win 3.1 to do that. would be interesting ;).
