UCmore flood

Hundreds of one-liners suddenly appeared

For the past few days, we have been getting hundreds of visits everyday like:

81.56.143.144 - - [29/Oct/2003:11:30:23 -0500] "GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1" 302 227 "-" "UCmore"
It does not go anywhere else on the site.

The origin (81.56....) is irrelevant.
What is identical everytime, though, is the "GET / favicon.ico etc.."
We don't have a favicon icon on the site.

It's been coming from hundreds of different sources, mostly from Europe.

We had over 800 such lines yesterday.
We re-direct it to a dev null, but it makes it very tiresome to analyse logs in the morning.

Has anyone else been visited likewise?
