Is it in the head content, or on the server side?
Cloaking?

Try .htaccess.
There is a fantastic thread on this site.
Or set up a spider trap. (Again search this site for details)

No absolutely not on the cloaking thingy.

I couldn't put the info up here, or stiky you the info because
off all the funky characters and codes the system here thinks
I'm sending a trojan...

The orginal thread is here...
[webmasterworld.com...]

The basis of what you saw is from the responce by Scooter...
I took out the bottom of the info.. and changed what Scooter
wrote because it dumped 500 errors on my whole site...
just a little glitch or something.. I'm far from an expert.

I'm happy to post the info.. but I already stickyed Brett (I am
sure he gets hundreds of stickys... and I post a message today
here but nobody wants to answer the problem.)

Beans and Fried Rice... Oh Boy!

Oh yeah.. you should take out all those IP addresses and put your own
in, that you want to ban. Some of those I banned you may want...
I hate everybody thats why you saw so many ;-)

I hear you... anything to do with spam, and I'll pass, thanks.

Thanks

If you're there still- I'm learning tonnes, but so much more to know, I've figured out where to put the .htaccess file, but you mentioned to upload it ASCII, that's cool,

but, which notepad program should I use to save it as a .htaccess file? I'm using a mac. Is stickies Okay?

Suggestions...

I dont know MACs..
Well.. if you already cut and pasted and upload and
no errors are being returned.. then what ever you did is good.

There many types of files that must be "pure" when saved.
That is.. some programs/editors throw in extra characters....
carriage return etc etc that a "pure" ASCII editor does not.

In Windows... Notepad will work (many many others.. too.)
So I was basically trying to relay that thought by saying use
Notepad... and if you knew you had a "pure" cut and paste editor
you would understand.. now you have MAC and Im sure there is
something the same to give you a "pure" cut and paste edit.
If you don't know you'll have to ask a MACy... or just upload the
thing and if it works you know your ok with your editor.

="If you're there still- I'm learning tonnes,"
I have no idea what tonnes are... sorry... just dumb as rocks here...

="but, which notepad program should I use to save it as a .htaccess file? I'm using a mac. Is stickies Okay?"
Lost me again... but I think you may have figured it out by now...

Not to worry you'll figure it out... don't be afraid to ask a question...
if I don't know.. well there's always another bucket of rocks around
to answer your question.

Guacomole..... when it's green, it's good.
