I know FunWebProducts has been discussed before. This visitor came via a Google search: <Results 1 - 10 of about 3,050,000. I was #3. :)>

12.254.94.78 - - [14/Oct/2003:18:21:55 -0700] "GET /Blah/Blah.gif HTTP/1.1" 200 43 "http*//www.Blahblah.com/Blah_Something.html" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98; Win 9x 4.90; MSOCD; YComp 5.0.2.4; Crayon Crawler; FunWebProducts)"

However, the Crayon Crawler part is new to me.

Suppose it's something newly emerging, or just a silly name indicative of log spammers?

Crayon Crawler is a kid friendly browser and online community that seems to becoming more popular for kids and family use (plenty of parental control features). I have seen in my own stats, but I don't remember it being combined with FunWebProducts though.

Thanks, Jenstar. Something similar to Ambiweb? For a family friendly educational portal like mine, that's just what I like to see. :) Must be looking for lesson plans or something.

There was another post of mine regarding FunWebProducts a short-time ago, but I can't find it. :(

The reason I mention that post is because the respondant also said something similar, in that they '...don't remember it being combined with FWP' and it was regarding a spider/bot, as I recall.

Perhaps there is more to this FWP than meets the eye?

If anyone digs it up, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks Chndru. :) I saw those durning my searches.

The one I'm looking for was a short thread I started about a bot/spider I hadn't seen. Someone responded it was a 'crawler/bot/spider/harvestor/scraper/raper' and was the first time they'd seen it coupled with FWP.

That's the thread I'm trying to locate and I can't recall the Subject Header other than it was bot-ish.

This marks the second inference to FWP as an unfamiliar occurance and was just curious if there is a pattern developing.
