I do not understand this tracking software

It says most request page is spider

I have always just used raw log files and a homemade database to analyze traffic, but recently signed up for a free trial of tracking software on the Web. It says the most requested page on the site is spider. I have no such page. What's up with that?

That's not normal... I'd ask the people that provide the software. The logical answer is that it is defining all spiders as visitors who only go to an imnaginary page called "spider" which is a roundabout way of taking the spider visits out of your logs to better analyse real human visitors.
