Moving an installation without losing your report profiles

I have just installed Webtrends Log Analyser on the 2nd partition of my web server. It is already installed on another partition, and I want to export my profiles from the first installation to the new one. However, I can't find any way to do this. I've tried the migration tool which comes with Webtrends but it doesn't work.
Has anyone got any idea how to do this successfully? I've looked in the NetIQ knowledgebase with no luck.

If it's the same version on the 2nd partition you can copy the "datfiles" directory (including sub directories) to partition 2, overwriting the corresponding "datfiles" directory.
If its vers 8.x - remember to restart the webtrends service on partition 2.
