I just blocked MSProxy via .htaccess. With 400 file requests, and only one webpage in a week's time, this is not a platform I wish to waste bandwidth on, although I do realize the 'ripper' is probably a lone wolf abusing this utility.
Since this software is no longer distributed or supported, my thinking is that I will not be blocking legitimate users. Anyone know if I'm throwing out the baby with the bathwater?

I've had this on my bad ua list for a while. Haven't seen anyone using it - good or bad in the last 3 months.
