Measuring Page Impressions for a Frameset Site

Is there anything which will register framesets?

Hello all

Is there an 'off the shelf' stats package which will measure page impressions received by framesets?

For example, if a frameset called 'home.htm' actually consists of 3 pages: 'topnav.htm', 'sidenav.htm' and 'content.htm' I would ideally like to be able measure accesses to 'home.htm' and not the constituent pages which make up this frameset.

As far as I know, packages like WebTrends and Hit Links will not register impressions for the frameset itself.

Any thoughts welcomed.

Thanks

You could get around this by placing a little 1x1 transparent gif in your main frame. You could then check how many times this file was accessed.

What you do with hitslink is put the code in all the inner frame pages but NOT the sidenav/topnav pages. That keeps the data clean.
