Do businesses actually use it?

Out of curiousity, what percentage of e-commerce sites use ROI tracking?

Saw a stat the other day that said 11% don't know what the sample size was, though - I would guess a very small %, much lower than that.

As the cost of PPC campaigns goes up, it's a certainty that more firms are going to be forced into better ROI tracking.

I just wonder how many create internal ROI tracking systems, and how many outsource to a third-party.
