I am sorry if this has asked before. The question is; suppose I get a click from a Goggle SERP for e.g.

htt*p://www.google.com/search?q=widgets

Where I am top ten and also running an adword ad for "widgets" then, how will I determine which listing was clicked?

Now if I am not top ten for “free widgets” but my adwords does appear for it will my log analysis software show “free widgets” as a search string?

I am using Webalizer Version 2.01

Append something like domain.com/?GoogleAd to your AdWords destination URL, so that Adwords clicks will show up in your log in an easy-to-differentiate format from your natural listings.

Yep - if you look at the referrer log entry for that click, you'll see?q=free+widgets somewhere in there.
