I was wondering. I have a number of iplanet(hack spit) servers (4.1 sp7) that produce fairly large logfiles. Now anyone who is familiar with iplanet knows that it's not the best when it comes to logfiles (stems back to the old netscape days) so I want to investigate other options.
Does anyone know any way of getting iplanet to log to a database instead of to a logfile /
I'm very, very far from an expert on the iPlanet server, but it looks as if you can hook it up to Oracle at least: [access1.sun.com...]
BTW... all newbies deserve contempt! ;)
