I don't like livestats. One of my clients has it with his hosting. I find the results to be inaccurate and inconsistent.

I like it's ability to tell me who's on my site in realtime but it has weaknesses in other areas. My biggest gripes are A) A bug with the email reports in version 5 which results in it sending out blank emails even when names are removed (probably fixed in current version though) and B) no reporting of key phrases, just individual keywords. If I want to see the entire phrase someone used to find my site I have to resort to downloading my log files - not good.

OMG!

you are joking aren't you?

I'm just about to install livestats for a client (at their request) and I'm shocked to learn it doesn't display phrases.

I'm off to their site to query this.

100% sure v5.x doesn't do phrases and 99% sure v6.x doesn't either.

I remember looking at their online demo specifically for this and being disappointed at the time.

The online demo no longer works though so I'll admit to 1% doubt (I've not got the best memory:)). It's nice how they keep a link to the demo on their sitemap though...

Livestats 6 definitely doesnt show phrases - itīs what I use for one of my sites.

I do like a lot of the other features though - the reports are pretty customisable. But in saying that I havent used many other packages.

Phew!

I thought you meant Webtrends Live (which does show phrases).

Panic over :-)
