So I just ran a quarterly report and found something VERY odd. We had over a million hits to our url.com/directory/a[i+2];} Has anyone experienced this?

Webtrends would only list it as a dynamic URL. I have tracked down the path to a ISP local to our area. I wanted to research what exactly this is before I contact them.

Thanks!

I've seen that a few times on my site. Overall, it didn't matter, but it is annoying and makes data analysis more difficult. I am certainly no expert.

The last time it was a blog grabbing an image file from my site. Went on for weeks, then suddenly stopped.

Before that it was some kind of attack going on at my server. It totally screwed up my data. They had to put in a filter.

This link also touches on a variation of it;
