New Yahoo Search Partners?

I wonder who they will be?

On another thread we had a discussion about new directory listings that Yahoo was displaying.

[webmasterworld.com...]

I also saw this for one day but now they're gone.

Also, the other day I saw TOTALLY different listings for the default web search. They were NOT from Google, not from Yahoo..then I checked Inktomi, Altavista, Fast and Teoma to try and match the results but I didn't find matching results anywhere.

This was a search that has straight HTML pages everywhere, but this particular SERP that I saw in Yahoo had a lot of dynamic pages - it looked like a CATALOG page, displaying a page from a large domain selling this particular product, but not a site optimized for the keyword. For ex, if I search for blue widget, the pages were coming from places like target.com/bluewidget.asp

Now I know that when Yahoo starts doing this, it's a test/sneak previw of what's to come. Any thoughts of what results Yahoo will be using?

If Ink has extended the deal with Amazon:

Y could have been thinking along the same lines and have a deal with a competitor/competitors in the pipeline?

just speculating...

I posted in the Fast forum.
Check the links to a site that is listed in Yahoo. Use Fast(link:url.com). You will find Yahoo directory listings in the link search.

Hey startup I didn't see this, I tried it with about 5 sites and they didn't show Yahoo in the back links. Can you sticky an example?

I'm seeing completely different results in yahoo now than what google shows with what appears to be a lot of listings from other SE's. I recognize some of them as having good ranks in other engines, yet sites that are banned in google.
