This significantly affects how a webmaster/SEO allocates their budget and promotes their site.
For me, this means:
1. Fewer submissions to Yahoo
2. More attention to Google
3. More attention to Ink & Fast that may also provide listings in the future
The SERPS will be more relevant for information, but less for people looking to buy products (reflecting Google's new ALGO). So where will people look? Probaby the sponsored listings or the directory.
This free's up $300 per site that can be used to buy PR :)
Any other thoughts/ideas/reactions?
