I researched yahoo quite extensively a couple of months ago wrt a couple of new sites which are now live.
Now when I check the category choices I made then again, I find that the PR that google assigns them (only part of the reason why I chose them then) has changed significantly .. in some cases this means it cannot now be worth the extra submission to the .com index over the .co.uk index...
Can any yahoo watchers tell me if PR fluctuates often or is this likely to stick?
Any other tips appreciated, will be back to read this forum in more detail shortly.
I'd say that yahoo's been in a state of flux for several months now & PR fluctuations may just be a part of it. For a short time Y had a robots.txt file [webmasterworld.com] in place. And then we had some weird SERP's [webmasterworld.com] last night.
I'm in a wait & see mood right now.
