Hi all,

How long should I expect to wait to get a non-profit medical related site into Yahoo.com?

Is it the same as ODP... luck of the draw?

Thanks...

I got a listing within days, judging by a few others who have posted on the subject - on the whole they may be quicker than DMOZ - depends on the site aswell though :)

Wow, I have a non-profit that I've submitted at least 5 times and it's never made it in.

I guess it depends on the category, probably my category doesn't have any active editors.

Nick, I suggest you submit and re-submit every 2 weeks, until you get listed. After 2 months, it's worth revising your code.

Good luck!

Nick_W, try the regional Yahoo's first.
The listings get added in quicker and you get listed in the .com after that.

My results have been spotty.
Sometimes in days. Not recently. I've been submitting once a week for the last couple weeks. Apparently, Y! empties their queue on a regular basis, so you gotta keep submitting in hopes you're close to the head.

I've had the free submissions sites either accepted within a few weeks or not at all. A few weeks ago I had site entered into Yahoo that I didn't even submit. That was a nice surprise. I've never, ever had that happen before.
