Likelihood of getting listed?

I'm willing to pay the $300 to try to get listed in Yahoo, more for the link than for the traffic. I don't sell anything, rather have a very quality, content rich site with links to people who do sell what I write about. I was formerly #2 on my term in google (not that it matters)

What are the chances I'll be accepted if I send them $300- any thoughts?

How long does it take them to decide if I'm in or not?

If you are a content rich site that is non-commercial you should at least try to get in for free.

We sell advertising to lots of other sites, so I think we'd be considered commercial.

ie - we write a page about jaguar sports cars and after the content say "click here to buy a jaguar".
