Ive noticed that capital letters are taken account of in yahoo...or at least in part. In my website description i have "Big Apples" rather than "big apples" and when i search for "big Apples" my site shows up in the listings (ther are only three) - but when i search for "big apples" then it doesnt...yet the site at no. 1 spot has it in caps in his discription, and still shows...?

Is this to do with the update, or is it wrong...i also would love to know how to change my discription a little...is this possible? (it was a free submission) - how would i best do this?

Thanks confusidly

I am not seeing the same difference in capitalization as you are...

You really aren't going to get a description change. The only time I have seen this down is if someone is buddy buddy with an editor.

That is really interesting, I get the same three sites either way!

What browser do you use and are you searching from the US?

I get the same 3 sites also...no difference....getting a listing change is nearly impossible without some basis for the request. Then they scrutinize the heck out of your site to determine if they even LIKE the way you are listed.

I'm sure that the confusion you're having is related to what I posted Here [webmasterworld.com].

Try hitting refresh a couple of times to see the different results.

If that doesn't work, delete your Yahoo! cookies then repeat above until thoroughly confused. ;)

Based on some examples I've been following in threads in other forums it seems that Yahoo is not only tweaking their algo a bit, but testing variables linked to cookies placed on user's systems.

Fun, Fun, FUN! :)
