My site recently went from #2 to #48 in my main search term and catagory. Does anyone know if they are dropping out people that paid under the one time $299 contract? I am considering resubmitting under their new $299 yearly contract, but am not sure if this is necesary. If anyone knows anything please let me know. Thanks

I seriously doubt that your slip in ranking is connected to the new annual fee. Yahoo would notify the e-mail address used during submission if they needed you to pay more. Your rankings probably slipped before or during the latest update this past Sunday. Search thru the Yahoo forum here at WebmasterWorld and learn all that you can about tips for ranking well within the Y directory.

I've got a $199.00 site that is still in the top-5 for all target keywords so maybe it's just a penalty on grandfathered $299.00 sites. ;)

No, you must have dropped for some other reason.
