I run a few websites and have paid someone in the pasts to help me with search engine submissions, and keeping my sites near the top.
On one of my sites, we got Yahoo to add a new category, as there wasn't any. This got my site to be the only site on this new category page :)
I am going submit my new webpage myself, and I come here to ask advise.
Is it possible to get Yahoo to add a new category ? If not, how do I fine the best category to submit my site under (there is no category for my main keywords cast nets)
Any advise on how I should submit to Yahoo is greatly appreciated.

nothing personal but url drops aren't allowed see [webmasterworld.com...]
on to your question (I am far from an expert), usually the first thing I do is search my higher level keywords and see what sites and categories are coming up. I also try to list in a b2b category (yellow one) so that, if needed, the opportunity to sponsor the site is always available.
Searches for your keyword don't bring any fishing sites until 29 and it is in a regional b2b cat in florida, I would keep looking for fishing related sites and see where they are listed and find one that suits your site.
