Yes I'm seeing a few different results :). Strange how this happened in between the normal shuffling.

I hope it sticks! I am now number one for my major keyword! I'd call it hard work and luck, but it's really is a major blessing. :)

I am getting a new design layout with small sized text and File folder looking tabs to the directory results. Also a tab link to premium results that looks to be Northern Lights. Also There is no blue line between sponsor matches and web results. Also looks like somehow the "Try this search in google" read my last google search rather than the term I just searched in Yahoo. Also in that link to Try your search in google the url had test in it.

I was getting that off and on last night Abe. It appears to be back to normal now. It is probably something they are testing.

BTW Abe, how are the sausage:)

I posted a thread on the change Yahoo! was going through aesthetically.

I also have a screenshot of the change when it went live for about five seconds last week.

Here's the original thread ---

Slight shuffle with only one keyword set (out of 6 monitored) showing significant upward movement (6 positions)

Although the shift is generally beneficial for the majority of my sites, the increased reliance on a potentially volatile SE is as worrisome to me as it is to many others above.

Is this the end of the redesign? I think not. It's hard to believe Yahoo will walk away from $50 mil in high margin revenue - particularly when they have been converting from a one-time fee to a subscription model. Here's my prediction: Inclusion of another result set, maybe as a sidebar: "Top Yahoo Directory Sites" or somesuch, that will result in some direct clicks from the search results page. Not as good as presenting directory sites as the primary offering as in the past, but perhaps enough in combination with the PR boost too hold onto many of their $299 subs.
