Yahoo sued by Yoddeling Ya-Hoo

The guy that does the "yahoo" yoddel in all the Yahoo commercials is suing Yahoo. According to his spokesman, the Yodel was suppose to only be run one time. He is seeking royalties for all the times it has been aired:

Terms of the settlement, which was agreed to Saturday, were not disclosed.

Something along the lines of, "Here's a somewhat smaller amount money, now shut up and go away," I'd imagine... hehe.

"I'm very happy with the speed and ease that Yahoo settled with me," Gustafson said. "It was a fair settlement that reflected (the yodel's) worldwide use."

Which means, roughly translated, "It wasn't the whole 5 mil., but I got big cash in the bank a heck of a lot faster than I would have going through court."

That yodel is probably the thing that most people related to in the mid 90's when you said "world wide web". I can even remember people mocking/imitating the yodel
