Any of you guys have a telephone number deeper inside Yahoo than just the general number they give on their website? Say to the Business Express department, or Srinija Srinivasan's office, the editorial department, or anything like that? I assume not, but if so, could you email me it? I'll be forever grateful. :)
Thanks!

I had a client's site that Yahoo listed with their competitors name. I got so fed up with Yahoo not answering me that I called their Chicago office were they sell banner space (so they actually answer the phone). Anyway, they gave me the "inside scoop". When you dial the main line and the automated response starts, press 0 to get the operator. If you ask for the Business express department, and then go through some other prompts, you'll eventually get to them. Unfortunately every time I've called the guy seems to be out of his office, and I just get his voice mail.
(good luck, my client's still listed with his competitors name)

Thanks, that's great information. Could never have known that myself. Yeah, I don't know how much good a call will do, but it can't hurt, right? Thanks again!

Update - Yahoo has now change my clients name! (after 2 months of battling with them)

Glad they finally fixed it for you. Took a year and numerous emails for a typo (which they made) to be fixed in one of our listings on Yahoo. The typo was in a specific medical term that was the site's topic.

Yeah it definitely made me happy, I wish I new what actually got them to changed it. Besides the phone calls to the BE department we also sent a letter from the clients lawyer.

seth,
Congratulations! Where did you send the letter? Just to the main Yahoo office?

Seth, I have no idea why our correction finally took place. Had sent in a final email request (at least the fourth one) and about three months later noticed the error was fixed. Polite persistence seems to be part of it.

boyleman-
The letter was sent to the main office.
We did get confirmation that it was the letter and not the voicemail. Yahoo actually gave my client's lawyer a call to tell him that everything had been taken care of.
