Hey all, I have been reading on here for a while but just registered to I can ask a question. I am on google with a PR of 6 and usually on the first page with most of my keywords. I show up on yahoo for a lot of those searchs in the same place. First page. Will I see any increase in hits by paying the 300 bucks for inclusion? I sell computer stuff so and extra 300 hits can easily = 300 bucks in profit. I would appreciate any ideas here. Oh yeah and I tried AH-HA.com. Big waste of money.

Not necessarily, do a few searches at Y! for the keywords you'd like to rank well in and see what kind of results come up. It's very important to get some of those keywords in the description and title of your Y! listing (of course the Yahoo editor who adds your site has a lot to do with that) so be sure to write a well crafted title and description using the examples from your searches as a guide.

Very few people drill down through the directory structure at Y!, so if your site doesn't come up in searches your listing is largely wasted, many go for a Y! listing for the boost they get at google, but it sounds like you don't need it.

Most of my clients have good keywords in their Yahoo descriptions. They run 2 to 3 times as many referals from the "Web Sites" search (directory listings) as they do from the imported Google "Web Pages" search.

yes, if you target your keywords and include them in the title and description, it'd probably be worth it. be sure to pick your main keywords (the most targeted ones).
i've noticed traffic from the web sites is much higher than traffic from webpages.
