Domain pointer or page?

I got a tip from another message board and purchased a domain that has good ranking in yahoo for a specific keyword but just was a dead end.

Right now I am at a loss as to what to do. I don't know if I should develop a one page site (i.e. a doorway) from this site to mine, or use a domain pointer-- for right now as the domain will be active in two days or so.

So my two questions are:
1- immediate action: use a pointer or develop one page?
2- (down the road) develop a mini-site or leave it as is (result of #1)

Your assistance is so greatly appreciated

I see so many sites at Yahoo that have been dead for years; Yahoo employees clearly can't be bothered to remove them. So I don't think you are in immediate danger of the site being removed.

I would redirect the traffic to any other site you owon in the short-term. But, nevertheless, you should try to develop a mini-site for the domain as soon as possible. If Yahoo staff DO take a quick look at the listing, they won't remove it because it's now just being redirected to another site or is a doorway type of page.

Chuladi, welcome to WmW...

I'd suggest you develop a mini-site for the domain. That way you won't take the risk of the site getting dropped.

It may never be checked, but if you design maybe you should throw a quick, small, themed site together and that'll help your rankings.
