I working on placing my site in Yahoo.
I need some advice on categories.
What does yahoo do if I put my site in a category with
no sites in it? will they place me deeper? or will they
place me there?

How many categories can I be in?
I saw some sites in 2-3 categories!
Can I give Yahoo a few categories I want to be in?

Thanx

"Browse deep into the directory, looking for the appropriate subcategory. Try searching for words that relate to your web site and visit the category matches that appear in your search results to find the most relevant category." (from yahoo) - the site search (above) search for "yahoo category" will give you some reading. Sites in multiple categories are companies listed on the stock exchange.
Make sure your site has good content, and works well. good luck.

A "massage board" will get you points almost anywhere you find people working on computers all day :)

As far as a message board helping you with Yahoo, it depends...if it will add quality to your Site, then by all means add it.

I think you will not want to include the tracking url, submit the plain jane root domain.
