Here I was doing some nice search engine submission Tuesday morning only to find out that Y! is no longer offering 'free submission' for Realtors/Real Estate catagory.

When you find the catagory and click Suggest a site you will notice the URL contains a +local at the end, by removing that it gives you the option to submit for free. but will the yahoo editors just overlook it since its supposed to be a paid section now ?

Thanks for your feedback.

I haven't had a free one in any category go through since they started charging.

I have had them go through for free but now I am wondering if there is any chance of inclusion if I remove the +local from the URL or if it will be discarded.

I'm not sure Eliteweb but it might be good for you to try it to see what happens.

Alright so heres the lowdown. Im not sure if it is specific to who authorizes the additions of the sites but the first one i added with the ?Local taken off it was added within 3 days. I did it again for a few more sites (hahah me always pushing my luck) and i got a email back saying the site blah blah blah - commercial - express submit.

So i submitted a few more and we will see the outcome.
