Does Yahoo only send out acceptance notices now for purchased listings?

I don't know Brett, I've never had a free site added.

From what people have said, they don't seem to send out emails for free submissions.

Has anyone submitted for free and received an email?

I had a free submission to Yahoo Australia accepted and received a very nice email notification. Dunno about the main Yahoo though.

That's what I wanted to do Soph. I never got a notice though. However, the submission was from quite awhile ago.

Y!.fr (not charging yet). No notification, exept for modifications.
Y!.ca in French(not charging yet). No notification, exept for modifications. Editors believed to be in France.
Y!.com No notification yet. Insisting like a pitt bull from a Y! e-mail adress did help a couple of times. Last submit failed for a good .org 2 months ago. Submitted again, nothing new.

Never tried, but I thnk it's OK... for instance if your business has a brick and mortar or delivery type business in the regional location, but does sales/services nation- or world-wide through your website.
