More paqes in Y!

Than in Google

Hi All

I was just carrying out some preliminary research on a site, and did a search for the URL in Google, which returned just the index page. I did the same search in Y! and received back 45 web page matches ??

I was under the impression that this part of Y! was fed by Google, so how could this discrepancy occur, is Y! sourcing pages from elsewhere also ?

How were you doing the search Rusky? I think it is just a 'systems' difference.

You are right the first search I carried out on Google was in the format of www.domain.com
However when I do an allinurl:www.domain.com. Up they come !

did you try turning the filter off on your search preferences on google
