How can somebody know my password?

This is the 3rd time I am trying to write this email since my laptop mouse is apperently so sensitive that I unintentionally sent other two emails before they were done...Sorry.
Ok, as i was trying to say, i received an email from Classmates; they were giving me "important registration information" and some "access information" including my registration email, my registration number and my YAHOO email PASSWORD!
First of all I never registered with Classmates and never gave my password to anybody....How could those people have all that information???
I would really like to contact somebody at Yahoo about this, since I am suspecting that our email addresses AND passwords can somehow be viewed. Please let me know if the same thing happened to you or if you know a way to contact somebody at Yahoo.

Welcome to WmW, you will like this place.

Even if you got very thight lipped about your access codes, many programs (read thousands of viruses) called trojan horses can open your PC to others to grab anything you can type on it, including user names and passwords.

Just make sure you use a recent anti-virus uptdate before you try to change all accounts datas.
