Anyone know how yahoo compares to the other engines as far as how your site gets indexed? Is link popularity an issue? Page title, file name, keyword density?...do they index by hand or once it is accepted do they just throw it in the mix and it is ranked by there own algorithims?
Thanks

Yahoo search results are based on words which appear in your title and description. So after you're excepted you're thrown into the mix and your site will come up based on their own algorithm.

I'm pretty sure actual HTML code(title, meta tags and such) isn't an issue in Yahoo search.

How many external sites link to you is important for the sake of making "most popular" listings in your category. This comes in very handle to me with all the "exclamation exclamation" sites I have to compete with.

Category is given even more weight than title and description. Ideally, you include your main keyword(s)in all three.
