Finding out if your site meets Yahoo's guidelines

Is there a way to get them to tell you?

A little history:
I created a site over a year ago that was structured the same as the two high ranking sites in my field, not only for Yahoo but for Google and MSN.
I figured if they knew the how rank well across all three, I would use the same site structure and methods that they use.

About 8 months ago those two sites got completely booted out of the Yahoo index.

I sent an email to Yahoo asking why and they said that those two sites "may" not comply with their guidelines.

I noticed that one of the sites quickly changed their ways but still has not been allowed back in the index to this day.

Granted some of their methods (and mine) were a bit spammy, but there was no hidden text or anything that Yahoo mentions in their guidelines.

I of course cleaned up my site too.

But now I am worried that my site does not meet Yahoo’s guidelines even after I cleaned up the spam. Yahoo is 90% of my traffic.

I fear sending them an email and asking them if my site complies with their guidelines because it might result in my site getting banned.

So I started thinking of creating another site just like the one I have now and having them review it or signing up for YPN to see if my site is accepted.

Does this sound like a good plan?
