[editorandpublisher.com...]

Yahoo has launched a new website, Yahoo! Tech, that gives consumers plain-English advice and information about choosing and using the technology that has become a part of their daily lives.

[tech.yahoo.com...]

Tastes like chicken... sounds like Cnet...

Just Adverts - I need to get a seriously big monitor to see any of the links near the bottom of the page.

Who actually owns the content on these pages, is it indeed "scrapeable"?

Would taste more like Cnet if they SEO'd the site. What's with these URLs?

[tech.yahoo.com...]

The layout is cool, and the feedback action when you hover over something is also way nice. In terms of style, Yahoo is an innovator. I love their interfaces, imo the best on the internet.

But the green color scheme seems overwhelming.

I get all kinds of page loading problems (Firefox). It seems to be loading something in the background and it flashes on the screen periodically (with the link above). And I can't navigate until it is done. Same thing happens on the YPN account manager page. It was after their last interface update.

Anyone else seeing these problems?

They're linking out - that makes me happy :-) I was expecting a lot more original content from them.

Yikes, this isn't anything. I thought this was going to be some awesome tech info archive.

Just looks like some "web 2.0" monstrosity about how to buy the right digital camera.

Am I wrong?

PS: Cake Mania sounds ok:

Help Jill save the day by opening a bakery, and earn enough money to re-open her grandparents' shop.
