Yahoo having a problem with RSS handling?

Sites are GONE from serps

I dont see a single site listed in the serps with the "add to my Yahoo" and "view as xml" links. In fact, some of the serps I monitor no longer include the sites with RSS feeds.

My site disappeared from the serps yesterday. I see others today. Is this a glitch with their RSS handling?

Whatever Y! is doing, one thing's for sure... they're making my site really "dynamic". This past month alone (since they started using their "improved indexing technology") my site has been ranked in the following order :

18, 12, 11, 10, 6, 20, 39, 40, 36, 35, 22, 21, 20, 15, 6, 5, 7, 8, 9, 22, 20, 39, 6 then finally at last check was at 8. If that ain't "dynamic" don't know what is ;p

Sites seem to be popping in and out of the top 10. I think Y! is probably tweaking their algo (mebbe they'r using dice) and checking the effects. One or two site are in the top ten that are NOT even connected to the category and don't even have a single keyword in their title, headings, description and page! go figure....

they're making my site really "dynamic".
I imagine you know the difference between a "static" site and a "dynamic" site, and just for those who are new to webmaster terminology, fluid/dynamic rankings (rankings that are not consistent) do not make for a "dynamic website". Fluidity of a site is deterimined by the dynamic (i.e., changability) of webpages and are often characterized by one or more variable terms in the url, often contanining one or more qustion mark.

Good discussion. )

; ) yeah crobb305...

that's why I said "dynamic" in QUOTES!
perhaps i should have said Yahoo! is making my site "dynamically ranked all over the serps!"
