Hi I am new to SEO

My client site is banned in yahoo, when i checked web.archieve.org with my domain name i found that the site has having spamming done in tiny font at footer of its home page and yahoo has penalized it now after such a long time of almost 1 year....

The best part is that google has crawled more than 3000 pages does it mean that G has ignored this tiny font or hidden text spamming... or should i wait to penalized by google in future.....

now what should i do to come out from Yahoo Banned issue... Guide me ...

Yes you should take care of that why not go through the rules and regulation for both google and yahoo.

If today it is being banned by yahoo its very clear that within a short span of time google will also penalize your client site. Prevention is better than cure .. so go ahead and make the necessary changes to avoid being penalized.

I asked Yahoo via their contact page about why my site is not being cached beyond my homepage and is not getting any traffic and they replied back a few days later telling me there is no indication that my site is under any penalty.

At what point should I consider writing Yahoo a formal letter via US mail? Asking them online has not accomplished anything.

are you in the yahoo directory?..im just trying to understand what may be a common factor, if anything, between sites that have only the homepage indexed.
