One site, multiple submissions

This might be a silly question, but I can't find any answer to this anywhere...
Can I make multiple submissions from one site to Yahoo? This is a site that are selling products in different categories, and I want to submit at least two of this categories individualy (wwww.xxx.com/product1/ and (wwww.xxx.com/product2/).
I know Looksmart are allowing this, but I dont want to push my luck with Yahoo ("as they may strike upon me with furious anger").

I woudl not do this if I were you....you may anger the Yahoo-Gods!

If Yahoo wants to they will index the other section.

I see a couple of alternatives for this. Either go the subdomain route as Macguru writes about in this thread [webmasterworld.com...] where he states "I sucessfully registered the same portal to 28 categories using sub domains too. ",
or, get another domain and sell your second product. With domains and hosting so cheap, this is a good way to pick up extra traffic by spreading your sites out a bit and offer unique products for each site and including your product in the title and URL :).

I don't know about agerhart, but if I have similar products in the same or near categories, I always opt for different contact information.

What about credit card numbers? Do they track them to see who's submitting what? I want to submit a different domain, but I'm worried it will get rejected because I used the same credit card (the primary domain sells several products while the extra domain would be targeted at a specific product).

The only problem that I've seen is with Looksmart keeping track of the billing address given. Once you have submitted 5 related sites they send out a warning that they will no longer accept submissions from you.

I've never once come across a problem using the same CC number as often times a webmaster uses their own CC information and then just bills the client on the webmasters behalf.

That having been said it can't hurt to use different CC numbers if you have that option available to you.

Thanks for the reply eljefe3. My biggest concern is that the sites would be in the exact same category (no way around this really). What do you think?

To be on the safe side, I generally limit all Internet purchases to one specific/dedicated card. It's just easier to spot fraud on this card since it wouldn't be mixed in with dozens or even hundreds of other purchases. Other reasons too.
