Yahoo Paid Inclusion programme

I'm interested in getting more visitors to my site and am working on exchanging links - but in the meantime I want to get on Yahoo - the feedback I am hearing is that it is worth paying $300 plus 30c per click to be included - do you agree? Anyone got any tips?
