I do not know much about Yahoo organic search, but an observation we've made today indicates that sites which serve up backlink results through the "linkto:" function seem to be penalized sites, while sites that serve no results with linkto: seem to do well in the organic search (at least, no penalty).
Can anyone confirm or explain my observation, or am I hallucinating?
