Yahoo search results changing hourly

Yahoo's search results seem to be changing hourly today. My site had dropped out of site for two days then #1 for several of my terms where I used to be and within an hour gone again. What are those boys doing? The results are looking very strange also.

Haven't seen much of any news about this, but I have definitely seen the same result ...

Not sure what is happening, but it started around mid-afternoon last Thursday ... Quite strange, as I was getting over 1,000 Yahoo referrerals per day before, but down to around 150-200 now ...

Significant to note that after exhaustive checking, my main keyword rankings are unchanged in the serps, and Y is showing that I have gained 41 backlinks since this started ...

for the last 3 days, since the 14th, i have checked up on 40 specific keywords hourly or daily and 1/3 of them have changed position 2 if not 3 times... <insert bang head here>
