How to get indexed by Yahoo News?

I have been trying hard to get our news reporting site indexed by Yahoo News, but no luck.

Does anyone know or had an experience?

Yahoo is much more strict than Google when it comes to admitting new sites into their "News" engine.

I'm not sure why...I think they're just more stuck up. They seem to accept only very large mainstream sites despite the fact that many of those sites have garbage content (AP syndicated feeds etc...)

I have multiple sites in Google News but have never successfully had any of them included in Yahoo News.

You are exactly right.

Yahoo news had a survey and I told them that they need to have a variety. I use those search news in order to get varied results not just the news that are being provided by the large players.

Have you considered submitting a press release about your site via [prweb.com...] - These usually end up on both Yahoo and Google news :)
