SE's indexing from Yahoo

Which title or description would they use

If an SE found and listed a site from Yahoo, would that SE use the title/description from the Yahoo (filled out) listing or from my actual page/meta content?

Most engines will use the information on the HTML code of the site itself, not Yahoo.

I have never seen an engine display the title and description given by Yahoo.

I believe they spider Yahoo to get quality websites, and then rank them according to their own algos, and give them a title and description from the HTML code and according to their established methods of displaying listings.
